More often, I have to readjust two or three times. And yes, I measure. But achieving the perfect fit is never easy. Happy new year, friends! This year, my Christmas gift project was monogrammed zipper pouches. Working assembly-line fashion, I completed groups of 3 or 4 bags at a time.

Then in 2008 I discovered a passion for fabric. At first, I was hand-painting and then embroidering and quilting silk tapestries of my own landscapes as wall hangings. Then I returned to my roots as a quilter, both of traditional patch-work quilting, and of modern abstract works including landscapes created by layering and applique.
